Welcome Families

The role of parents and families in the success of their children cannot be overstated. From birth on, family involvement in all aspects of children’s lives impacts the academic and social-emotional well-being of the whole child.  When parents read to their children, it increases their vocabulary, develops a love for reading, improves academic performance, and increases lifetime learning.  (The Children’s Reading Foundation)

Benefits of Multilingualism in Early Learning

Learning to read and write in two  or more languages is incredibly beneficial for preschool children. It creates a strong foundation for lifelong learning, cultural understanding, and academic success. Multilingualism enhances children's experiences, widens their viewpoints, and gives them valuable skills for the future. One of the key benefits is better language development, including a richer vocabulary and a deeper understanding of how language works. Multilingual children often develop stronger reading and writing skills than those who speak only one language.Being multilingual helps kids communicate with more people, build friendships across different cultures, and feel more confident and included in diverse communities. This not only supports their personal growth but also boosts their academic success.
